School Dismissal Manager comes equipped with a powerful email and text messaging alert feature, providing school administrators with the ability to send instantaneous email or text alerts concerning emergencies, school delays, closures, sports cancellations, child illnesses, etc., directly to parent’s cell phones. This feature, which is an opt-in application for parents, is available for all schools that use School Dismissal Manager. And, like School Dismissal Manager, this invaluable communication feature is available to schools for free.
School Dismissal Manager utilizes web based technology—making it easy and safe for both parents and schools to operate.
Parents securely log in to the school’s specific School Dismissal Manager website (a one-page interface) and assign other parents or relatives to pick up their children on any given day. They can also communicate if their child will be taking a different bus, staying after school, or walking home. Each day, just prior to dismissal, School Dismissal Manager automatically emails the school with an up-to-the-minute dismissal assignment report. Last minute changes are easy to make and are sent electronically to administrators and teachers, eliminating last minute scrambles for both parents and school staff. |
